Here's another fan art piece for one of my favorite games, The Legend of Dragoon. This was the very first RPG I ever bought for my PS1 and it was the whole reason I became addicted to RPGs in the first place. The fighting engine in the game was brilliant, the storyline was epic, the graphics (for it's time) were beautiful and the characters were easy to fall in love with and care for.
This picture is of Dart and Shana, these characters are childhood friends who eventually express the feelings that they have always had for each other. It's a very sweet love story and so that's why I decided to draw a picture of this couple. Oh and I don't consider this a "pairing" fan art because these two were actually in love.
The quote at the top was something that was said during a little cinematic that plays before you start the game, I always thought it was a cool line. The moon in the background kinda sucks because I didn't do anything with it (I'm just lazy), it's supposed to be the "Moon That Never Sets" which plays a big role in the game. But you don't find out why until much later in the game.
Lately this game seems to have become rather hard to find on the market and on Ebay I've seen it being sold rarely for under $50... but if you like RPGs, haven't played it and you manage to find a cheap copy, buy it now! I command you! The game is 4 disks long and if you go on every sidequest available, each disk should last about 20 hours (total game time roughly 80 hours) so you'll definately get your moneys worth with this game!
Oh and I know that Dart has the Dragoon wings but not the Dragoon Armor, I just like his standard human armor better. Also I'm aware that Shana's hair is too long but for my picture I don't think I'd want it to be shorter. It wouldn't look as pretty.
