Fission Mailed

Been a while since I posted any new art, huh? Well I finally got off my butt and set up my new scanner which was given to me by the generous ~Saya1984 (go love her now)! So here's the first piece of nicely scanned art I'm going to share with you!

This is my own little spoof on the video game series "Metal Gear Solid" and the manga/anime "Death Note." Now this probably won't make any sence unless you've played the Metal Gear Solid games... but regardless of that, I hope it still is mildly amusing. Not many people here know this, but I'm an extreme Metal Gear Solid fangirl.
To explain this picture in further detail, in MGS 1 there was a genetically engineered virus called "FoxDie" and it was programmed to kill specific people and give them a fatal heart attack. Snake was on the list of people it was engineered to kill but for some reason it didn't work.
As most people know, in the manga/anime Death Note, Kira kills people primarily with heart attacks. As you can see, he's written down Solid Snake's name in the Death Note but Snake thinks it was FoxDie that got him. There was actually more than just one "Snake" in the MGS series, Solid Snake was just one of MANY and Kira got the wrong one... wonder who he was really after? Maybe Liquid Snake...?
So the whole "heart attack" thing is basically what my stupid joke hinges on. I hope some of you will get it... or at least understand my explaination so you can get in on the joke too.
Also, in MGS3, if you killed people you weren't supposed to kill you'd get a message from the Colonel that says "you created a time paradox" in various amusing ways. Sometimes in MGS2, the game would mess with your head and make it look like you died even though you hadn't and the screen would say "Fission Mailed" instead of "Mission Failed." Just another one of the many funny and strange things that happened in the MGS series...
