Light is the Fallen Star

The club held a really awesome contest and so here's my second submition for it (since you're only allowed to submit two pieces per person). My first submition for the contest is this [link]
The theme of the contest was to do a "pairing" fan art peice of Death Note using any movie for the setting.

For this piece I used the new movie Stardust because it was a really cute fantasy movie and also because my mom ^Kitten-of-Woe suggested I use it for this contest! Since I work at a theater I get to see as many free movies as I want and I took my mom to see it twice because it was so much fun.
This was from the scene where Tristen Thorn pushs Yvaine into some bushs so they aren't spotted by some people on their journey. Tristen sorta falls on top of her when he pushed her into the bushs. It was a cute and awkward romantic moment and my drawing is of the moment he's laying on top of her and tells Yvaine to keep quiet. It's a very sweet movie and if you like fantasy then you should go and check it out.
Since Yvaine is a fallen star, when she is happy her blonde hair glows in a very pretty way. I can't even tell you how hard it is to make brown hair look like it's glowing! I think I failed, but this is the best I can do with colored pencils.
I used a Pentel colored marker for the outlining and colored the rest of it with Prisma color pencils which is a freakin' awesome brand of colored pencils! Probably the best I've ever used for that matter.

EDIT: I lost the contest... I was in 16th place in the "Judge's Choice" part of the contest. *cries*
